Paul A Gulston

Paul is a faculty member at AcademyGlobal who has over 20 years’ experience as a supply chain practitioner. He began his career in the health sector and transitioned into aviation, construction and the power generation industry, where he supported procurement efforts at a strategic and operational level.
Paul has been involved with the CIPS body since 1998 as a student where he began his MCIPS journey. He began his CIPS tutorship career in 2006, conducting training at various levels of the programme on a part-time basis. Since then, he continues to educate learners globally in the CIPS programme and MBA modules that a focused on supply chain and operations content. Paul is also a founding member of CIPS Americas and the Caribbean, a body aimed at serving procurement professionals within this hemisphere.
Described as a highly energetic and engaging educator with a unique passion for education and supply chain management, he’s able to blend real-world experiences with supply chain theories and best practices. This approach allows students and professionals to learn by ‘doing’ through real-life case examples, taken from their own experiences.
He supports the procurement and supply chain community, often through social media, sharing recorded blogs and via his occasional live streaming. He continues to mentor professionals on all platforms who seek advice on related issues and career paths in the area of supply chain management.
