Sarah holds a BSc (Hon) in Manufacturing Management and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPSCS). She has over 27 years procurement and supply chain experience in local and Asia region roles within FMCG, Financial Services, Higher Education and NSW Government, and was most recently the Head of Procurement at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She is also a casual academic for the University of Sydney and Western Sydney University, and an AcademyGlobal Faculty Member, delivering procurement professional qualifications.

A highly active member of the Australian procurement community, Sarah was formerly a member and Chair of the NSW CIPS Committee and the ANZ CIPS Profession Steering Committee. She also represented CIPS and the Australian procurement practitioners on the Standards Australia Committee for the development and adoption of the global standard ISO20400 Sustainable Procurement.
